Over the last 1 year , I have seen many learners posting impressive projects on LinkedIn with captions like “Project Completed using AI.”
My question is very simple:
👉 How much of that project did YOU actually build?
If AI generated 80–90% of your code, then what exactly did you learn?
AI is a powerful and exciting technology, and I strongly believe in its potential. I train professionals on Azure AI Foundry, Generative AI, .NET, React, Angular, Python, Azure, SQL, and Full Stack Development. When used the right way, AI can significantly accelerate your growth and productivity.
I have been working in the corporate training industry for many years, travelling across India and mentoring thousands of freshers and professionals.
One thing I have consistently observed is that strong fundamentals are the biggest differentiator between learners who simply get a job and professionals who build long-term successful careers.
Many of my learners are working successfully in leading organizations because they invested time in understanding concepts, writing code themselves, debugging issues, and strengthening their fundamentals—along with using tools like AI wisely.
Today, many learners use AI to create projects just to showcase them on LinkedIn. Before posting, ask yourself:
✅ Can you explain every line of your code?
✅ Can you build the same project without AI?
✅ Can you debug issues independently?
✅ Are your programming fundamentals strong?
✅ Are you truly ready for a corporate interview?
If the answer is No, then your project is only a showcase—not proof of your technical ability.
Companies hire professionals who can understand, design, write, debug, and maintain applications—not just generate code.
My advice:
✔️ Learn the concepts first.
✔️ Write the code yourself.
✔️ Make mistakes and learn from them.
✔️ Debug your own applications.
✔️ Build at least one complete project without AI.
Once your fundamentals are strong, use AI to enhance your productivity and creativity.
Don’t build projects just to post on LinkedIn. Build projects that prepare you for real corporate challenges.
My message to every learner:
Learn first. Build yourself first. Then let AI amplify your potential.
